For generations, many of the fruit farms made small quantities of cider for the refreshment of their workers. Most of the apples grown in East Anglia are culinary or desert varieties. These apples present special challenges for the cider maker as they do not individually contain the balance of sugar, tannins, acids and aromas that are found in 'vintage' cider apples. With careful blending of culinary, desert and wild crab apples the cider maker can use his skill to produce fantastic ciders that are a match for any in the country.
Pickled Pig ciders are complex, aromatic and rich; enjoyed lightly chilled they stimulate all the senses.
Rest assured that you are enjoying a natural product produced
with passion - just as it should be.
